These terms are meant to be used in spirit rather than in letter. Please respect user-created content as their intellectual property. All content created by users is their creation and doesn't necessarily reflect the views of anyone affiliated with Noisophile or the service itself.

Ownership of Content

All content posted by users on Noisophile belongs to the user. As a user of Noisophile you agree to only post content which belongs to you or you have explicit permission to post. Any infringing content may be subject to removal from Noisophile at any time.

All conversations posted regarding a band are subject to the original poster of the band. If a band is deleted from someone's list, all associated commentary will also be deleted.

Spamming

Spamming is forbidden. Noisophile is a service intended for sharing and entertainment. Noisophile takes fun seriously. Spamming impinges upon the ability of other users to enjoy Noisophile. Don't spam.

Privacy Policy

E-mail addresses will not be willfully shared with any party. Your e-mail address is your property and we consider it to be private to you. We will not deliver the information to any organization without legal requirement. Even upon legal requirement we will share only the required information as the authorities state.

We will not distribute personally identifiable information about you without your consent. All profiles on Noisophile are public and any information posted in the profile section, a band listing or as a comment in a conversation. Any private information provided will be treated as such.

Termination of Service

When service is terminated, all user information, band lists, conversations and comments will be deleted from the system. This cannot be undone. Your information may be maintained in a backup, however it will be made unavailable as soon as your account is deleted.

If you violate one of the terms of service, including sharing private information, infringing upon copyright or spamming, your account may be subject to cancellation. If you account is cancelled, it will be deleted. Deletion of an infringing account is irrevocable.
